AutoCAD

AutoCAD can create any 2D drawing and 3D model or construction that can be drawn by hand. The program also allows the user to group or layer objects, keep objects in a database for future use, and manipulate properties of objects, such as size, shape, and location.

AutoCAD has numerous applications in a wide range of fields. The program can be used for simple projects, such as graphs or presentations, or complex designs, like drawing up the architecture of a building.

Starfish

Starfish Retention Solutions is a system which assists with student retention, by identifying risk factors and connecting students with resources and support to help students achieve their academic goals.

Starfish can be accessed from the Blackboard login page. From the Blackboard login page, click on the Starfish module. You will log in to Starfish using your NDUS.Identifier (ex: jane.doe@NDUS.edu) username and password (same as used for Campus Connection and Blackboard).

Campus Connection

Campus Connection (Campus Solutions) is the student administration system of Oracle’s PeopleSoft product. It is used for students to register for classes, check their bill, and other administration functions. Campus Connection is used throughout the North Dakota University System. Users enter their UND user.name credentials to log in to Campus Connection.

Perceptive Content

Formerly ImageNow by Perceptive Software, Perceptive Content is the document imaging system used by UND. Perceptive Content works by capturing documents electronically and storing them on a central server. Once they have been captured they are inspected for quality and indexed with document keys, so they can be easily searched and retrieved.

SPSS Statistics is a software package used for interactive, or batched, statistical analysis. It is used by several departments and is available through Citrix.
