AutoCAD

AutoCAD can create any 2D drawing and 3D model or construction that can be drawn by hand. The program also allows the user to group or layer objects, keep objects in a database for future use, and manipulate properties of objects, such as size, shape, and location.

AutoCAD has numerous applications in a wide range of fields. The program can be used for simple projects, such as graphs or presentations, or complex designs, like drawing up the architecture of a building.

BeyondTrust (formerly Bomgar)

BeyondTrust Remote Support (formerly Bomgar) enables you to remotely access and fix nearly any device, running any platform, located anywhere in the world. With Remote Support, support professionals can work on multiple systems simultaneously, chat with multiple end-users at once, and work with other reps in the same session to fix problems faster.

Campus Connection

Campus Connection (Campus Solutions) is the student administration system of Oracle’s PeopleSoft product. It is used for students to register for classes, check their bill, and other administration functions. Campus Connection is used throughout the North Dakota University System.

Citrix

UND provides a virtual desktop environment using Citrix. Citrix allows you to remotely access various applications from home, work, and mobile devices from any location that has an internet connection.

Dining Services

Software and applications specific to the Dining Services, such as BioConnect and credit card machines.

Facilities

This category is for Facilities specific software, such as SnagIt, Master Works, Arbor Pro, and BlueBeam.

FAMIS

FAMIS software is used for facilities maintenance, space planning, and energy management.

Library Systems

Software and applications specific to the Library, such as EZproxy.

Linux

Linux operating system specific installations, software, etc.

Medicat

Medicat is medical scheduling software that is available via Remote Desktop to Student Health Services and University Counseling Center. The Remote Desktop shortcut can be deployed via SCCM. Any end-user who is using Medicat will also need a toolset named Screwdrivers for printing and scanning into the system which is also available to be deployed via SCCM.

Any issues occurring within the Medicat system should be documented and sent to the AIS team for further troubleshooting. When documenting the issues, please make sure to include the end-users name and department.

Office 365

UND uses Microsoft Office 365 for university email, which also includes calendaring and storage options.

Perceptive Content

Formerly ImageNow by Perceptive Software, Perceptive Content is the document imaging system used by UND. Perceptive Content works by capturing documents electronically and storing them on a central server. Once they have been captured they are inspected for quality and indexed with document keys, so they can be easily searched and retrieved.

SAS

SAS (Statistical Analysis System) is used by various departments for data management and analysis.

SPSS Statistics

SPSS Statistics is a software package used for interactive, or batched, statistical analysis. It is used by several departments and is available through Citrix.

Software and applications specifically used by Student Health Services.

TeamDynamix

Testing Center / PearsonVUE Testing System

PearsonVUE is one of the companies that Testing Services provides tests through. UND Testing Services is a PearsonVUE Select Site.

Their site ID is: 75947

Gerri Lorenz is the person that they contact to create users, but Karen, Mary, and Jay (from TS) are the ones who will be administering and proctoring the tests for the students.

Pearson support number is: 1-800-704-3613, option 1, then option 3. You're calling from the University of North Dakota Testing Services Center. They will ask for the site ID first. Be wary if they don't ask for the site ID as it may not actually be Pearson.
