Preparing to return to campus work as a faculty/staff

At your remote location

  1. Take a picture of how cords are plugged into your computer/docking station so that you can replicate your setup in your campus office.

  1. Make a checklist of all the equipment you need to transport.
  2. You are responsible for moving your equipment back to campus. If, after your move, you are having difficulty with computer setup, please contact UND Tech Support and we can assist at that time.

  • Laptop/Desktop computer
  • Docking station
  • Mouse and keyboard
    • Mouse pads, ergonomic wrist rests, etc.
  • Headset
  • Monitors and monitor cables
  • Computer speakers and speaker cables
  • Associated cables and cords
    • Ethernet Internet cables
    • Power cords/strips
  •  Printers and associated cables
    • Please do not bring personal printers to campus
  • Scanners and associated cables

Once in your office

  1. Place your equipment to your preferences.
  2. Using the picture of your cords, replicate the connections.
  3. Power on your equipment and log in.
  4. Connect to the "UND Protected"  Network. How do I connect to the UND Wi-Fi networks?
  5. Place your office phone back to normal operation. Phone Features
  6. Ensure that Duo MFA allows access from your office phone. Add a new device to Duo MFA.
