Windows 11 Upgrade Options

There are two options to use listed below that will allow you to upgrade to windows 11. Please ensure you have backed up all important files and have a stable internet connection before proceeding with the upgrade. If you encounter any issues or need further assistance, feel free to reach out to your IT department or use the resources provided by Microsoft Support.

Using Software Center

  • To upgrade to Windows 11, you can use the Windows 11 upgrade tool available within the Software Center > Operating Systems on your device. Simply click the button, and the upgrade will proceed. It takes approximately 45 minutes to download over a wired connection and about 15-20 minutes to restart and install the upgrade. Most applications compatible with Windows 10 should work with Windows 11. If your device is not compatible, work with your department's tech coordinator or administrative assistant to order a Windows 11 compatible device.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
