Create a Link in Blackboard to Public or Shared YuJa Videos

UND's shared YuJa folders contain resources for all users and are open for all users to watch and share! One of the shared folders, Featured Videos, contains instructional videos and walkthroughs for YuJa, Zoom, and other academic technology used at UND. These videos are geared towards both instructors and students, and they help provide a quick how-to guide for various applications you may be using in your class. Since they are public videos, you may share the link with anyone to provide a quick introduction to an app, instructions for getting started, or even a walkthrough of more advanced features. The first part of the process is similar to the way you share your own YuJa videos in Blackboard. There are two ways to locate the video you want to post: by searching for its title, or by navigating directly to the folder that contains the video.

Method 1 - Search for the Video's Title:

Navigate to your course in Blackboard.
Go to the area where you want the video to appear and click Build Content (from the top menu bar), then from the drop-down select YuJa Media Chooser. This opens a window where you can select the video you would like to share.
1. Scroll down, and you will see a search bar that says "Search title or description term". It may take a moment for the search bar to load. Type or copy and paste the name of the desired video there. Then click the magnifying glass icon (to the right) to run a search for the video. A video's title may be found on the its thumbnail image or visible on the page when you play a video.
The search term will be added to the list of attributes below the search bar, and matching videos will be displayed below that.
Click the desired video to select it (highlights the video in blue), and click 'Insert Videos' (bottom-right corner) to post the selected video to your Blackboard course.

Method 2 - Manually Locate the Video's Folder:

Navigate to your course in Blackboard.
Go to the area where you want the video to appear and click Build Content (from the top menu bar), then from the drop-down select YuJa Media Chooser. This opens a window where you can select the video you would like to share.
Scroll down, and you will see the search bar – with a elipse icon on the left hand side of the search bar.
Click that icon, and it will open a window where you can navigate to the folder containing the video. In this example, it's 'Featured Videos'. Click the folder to open it. To find out which folder contains the video, check where you originally viewed the video in YuJa.
When you open the folder, it may appear empty - Just click SELECT - that window will close, and all of the videos that are in that folder will appear below the search bar.
The file path you selected will display below the search bar. Scroll down and you should see the desired video. In this example, it's 'YuJa Student Recording'.
Click the video to select it (highlights the video in blue), and click Insert Videos (in the bottom-right corner of the window) to post the selected video to your Blackboard course.
