Starfish Retention Solutions is a system which assists with student retention, by identifying risk factors and connecting students with resources and support to help students achieve their academic goals.
When can students access Starfish?
- New incoming students will have access to Starfish once they are matriculated (once they are able to register for classes).
- Returning students who have been away for more than 3 semesters will have access once they are enrolled in courses.
- If the above conditions have been met, and the student still doesn't have Starfish access, have them contact shari.nelson@und.edu
How do I access Starfish?
You will log in to Starfish using your NDUS.Identifier (ex: jane.doe@NDUS.edu) username and password (same as used for Campus Connection and Blackboard).

Starfish can be accessed from the Blackboard login page. From the Blackboard login page, click on the Starfish module. You will log in to Starfish using your NDUS.Identifier (ex: jane.doe@NDUS.edu) username and password (same as used for Campus Connection and Blackboard).
