Install and setup the LiquidFiles Secure File Share plugin for Outlook

*This option is for Windows computers only. It installs both the Outlook plugin and the LiquidFiles Agent app to your computers applications.

Install from Software Center

  1. Follow instructions provided for Windows and Macs, How do I install apps from the Software Center? (Must be on-campus or connected to the campus VPN)
  2. When making the app selection, click LiquidFiles.

-or- Install from browser

  1. Go to https://man.liquidfiles.com/clients.
  2. Select the Admin EXE installation.

Click Admin EXE

  1. When the download is complete, double click to run the installer and follow the prompts.

Run the installer

  1. You will receive a confirmation when the installation is complete.

Outlook Setup

  1. Close your Outlook program and reopen for the plugin to appear.
  2. Open a New Email and click Secure Attach.
  3. Choose any file to attach to be prompted to set up the Server, User name, and Password.

  1. Enter the fields and click OK.
    1. Server: sendfiles.ndus.edu
    2. User name: Your NDUS.identifier [same as Blackboard, Campus Connection, and HRMS Eployee Self Service]
    3. Password: Your NDUS password [same as Blackboard, Campus Connection, and HRMS Eployee Self Service]
  2. You are now set up to use LiquidFiles within Outlook.

Where are the LiquidFiles Secure File Share options in Outlook?

The LiquidFiles options will appear in the top navigation ribbon when either composing a new email or replying to an email.
