Important Update: UND SELFI is now powered by Watermark Course Evaluations. This change has affected how students and instructors will access the survey and results.
SELFI Faculty Evaluations
Students are an important source of information about the effectiveness of a course and instructor. The SELFI (composed of 24 core questions and 3 optional, personalized questions) is the way students can provide constructive feedback to UND instructors. The higher the student response rate, the greater the reliability of the data, so instructors should encourage their students to complete the SELFI for their courses. Results are used by faculty to make improvement in their own courses, and by departments in faculty performance evaluations and in tenure and promotion decisions.
Students
- Students will see a "Go to Survey" pop-up after logging into Blackboard (blackboard.und.edu) or accessing a course with an active survey.
- Students can also access the SELFI surveys through the direct links they receive through email.
Instructors
- Instructors will receive an email from Watermark with direct links to launch the instructor tasks and view response-rate reports.
- Any prior UND SELFI links in Blackboard will no longer work and can be removed.
