Voicemail (Custom Announcement)

 

This article provides step by step instructions for recording a custom announcement when a user does not wish to have callers leave a voicemail.

Setting Custom Announcement

1. Sign into the Avaya Cloud app or web portal (service.cloudoffice.avaya.com)

2. Click on Settings > Phone > Incoming call Rules

3. Click on Incoming calls

Note: If you have business hours setup you will choose either Business Hours or After Hours under My work day.

4. Scroll down to If no one answers, Click the drop down to the right and select Play announcement.

5. Click on the default text, a box should display.

6. Click on the drop down in the upper right and select Custom.

7. Choose preferred recording method from the options presented.

8. Make sure to click on the Upload Icon to the right of the play bar. Then click Done.

9 Click Save
