UND offers multiple online collaboration and meetings tools that allow users to see, hear, and interact with one another in real-time. Some of these solutions, such as Zoom and Blackboard Collaborate Ultra, may be leveraged into offering an online course environment that matches many of the learning objectives of traditional face-to-face classroom settings.

Blackboard Collaborate Ultra Security Best Practices

There are four core features of the Collaborate platform that help ensure a secure virtual classroom experience.  We recommend using as many of these options as you reasonably can without impacting your meeting operations. If you are discussing any sensitive or confidential information in your meetings, these measures become that much more important.

Create a virtual classroom with Blackboard Collaborate Ultra

If you are using the Blackboard Collaborate tool, you have one room dedicated to your course. It is open for the life of your course. You can't create new sessions.

In partnership with Education To Go (Ed2Go), UND offers a wide range of career and personal development courses offered entirely online. For more information on Ed2Go courses, please call (800) 342-8230 or send an email to: und.courses@email.und.edu
