UIT Resources for UND Students

UIT provides services and assistance for the technologies students need in order to be successful in pursuit of their academic goals. Here are some of the ways UIT can help;

• During business hours, staff is available at our service desk in the lower level of the Chester Fritz Library for walk-in assistance.
• Diagnosis and repair of PC and Apple software and hardware issues. Services performed by in-house Dell and Apple certified technicians.
  • Replacement or upgrade parts costs are the responsibility of the student.
  • No cost for time or labor.
• Checkout laptops available in 30-day increments.
• An extensive Knowledge Base containing up-to-date info pertinent to the technology needs of UND students, faculty, and staff.
• Available for online support chat, and even screen-sharing sessions to help resolve issues remotely.
• Students can call us directly at 701.777.2222, 24/7.
• For non urgent matters, students can submit a service ticket to request help.
• You get access to the full Office365 suite of applications for PC and Mac on up to 5 computers at once.
• Students also get free access to:
  • Microsoft Windows 10 and other discounted software through the UND software store.
  • Read&Write.
  • ArcGIS
  • SPSS.
  • Mathmatica.
