Riipen + Blackboard Integration

Riipen is UND's new project-based learning platform, where instructors select real-world experiences to incorporate into their course curriculum. Just set up a Riipen course page, and use the Blackboard - Riipen integration to link it to your Blackboard course site, so students can view the project page with one click.

Add a Riipen Link to Your Blackboard Course

Follow the instructions here to sign up and create your Ripen page.
When your Riipen page is ready to link, open it in your browser, and copy the unique alphanumeric code from its URL in the address bar. You will need to select the string corresponding to the one highlighted in the image below:
Open a second browser window or tab. Log in to Blackboard, navigate to your course's desired Course Content Area, click Build Content, and select Web Link.
Set up the web link by adding the following information:
Name: Choose any title for your link.
URL: Use the following URL, but replace the 'ZZZ11ZZZ' segment with your own course's alphanumeric code (copied in step 2, or from your other tab): und.riipen.com/lti/experiences/ZZZ11ZZZ
Settings: Check the box next to 'This link is to a Tool Provider', then click Submit.
The link will now pass students through to your Riipen course site.
