Read&Write is a literacy support tool that offers help with everyday tasks like reading text out loud, understanding unfamiliar words, researching assignments and proofing written work. Premium licenses are provided for the UND community.
Premium features include:
- Text to speech - Hear documents and web pages read out loud, with read-along highlighting

Dictionary - Instantly clarify and define words as you type.

Picture dictionary - Visualise meaning to build confidence and comprehension

Prediction - Enrich your writing with word suggestions

Highlighters - Collect your thoughts and take notes with coloured highlighters

Vocab list - Save words and compile your own personal glossary

Check it - Check for spelling, grammar and confusable word errors
Install Read&Write
1. Visit the following page - https://deploy.edu.everway.com/
2. Select the "Start Setup" Button
3. Select Installing just for myself option - then "Continue"
4. Select "Read&Write" - then "Continue"
5. Select "Quick Install Links" - Then "Continue" Select "Generate my deployment plan"
6. Select appropriate button for your device, ie. Windows for a windows computer, Mac for a Mac computer. - Allow prompt if necessary.
7. Open download file.
A. For Mac: Drag the application to your Application folder on screen
B. For Windows: Click "Yes" - Click "Accept and Install"
C: For Chrome: Click "Add to Chrome" - then click "Add extension"
8. Open "Read&Write" and log in using Microsoft - Log in using your "firstname.lastname@NDUS.edu" account
9. Read&Write is now ready for use.
