With department chair approval, instructors are able to utilize undergraduate students as teaching assistants. Instructors are able to request that these undergraduate teaching assistants (UTAs) be either full Teaching Assistants with the ability to work within the course and grade coursework, or as Course Builders that can create and manage course content but do not have the ability to manipulate the Grade Center of the course. Instructors will need to submit a request for each UTA that will be utilized within a Blackboard course.
