Connect an Apple Mac to Secure "UND Protected" Wi-Fi

  1. From your device's available Wi-Fi networks, choose "UND Open".
  2. If one doesn't appear automatically, open a browser to http://wifi.und.edu. Click Students, Faculty, and Staff Access.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  3. Click the Join Now button. Click Allow if you are prompted to open in your default browser.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  4. Your system will download "WiFi_JoinNow_Wrapper.dmg". Open the download and run the WiFi_JoinNow_Wrapper" application. If a window asks if you want to open the app downloaded from the internet, click Open.

  5. In the login window that appears, enter your UND user.name credentials and click Next.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  6. You will be prompted by the System to install the profile in the System Settings. Your device will seek additional permissions a few times to configure your network, please provide your system password when prompted.

  7. After a few moments, a window will appear titled "Are you sure you want to install this profile?". Click Install... Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)

  8. Confirm the next window and click Install again. Enter Mac credentials as needed.

  9. Go back to the "SecureW2 JoinNow" app and click Next.

  10. Repeat steps 7-9 for the second profile, then click Next.

  11. Wait a few moments for the app to finish and displays "Joined...". Click Done

  12. Verify you are connected to "UND Protected".

  13. Delete the DMG file downloaded earlier.
