Extend Time Allowed to Enter Phone Number
Select the Menu Button
Select Settings
Select Phone
Change Dialing Mode to Manual and click Save
Click the Phone button to return to the home screen
You can now dial the number with handset still on the phone base. Once you are done entering the number you can either pickup the handset or press call to place the call.
