UND offers Hoonuit (formerly Atomic Learning) and to students, faculty, and staff to use as a source of online training and video tutorials. Smarthinking is also available as a tutoring service for UND students.

Embed Infobase Tutorials in Blackboard

Infobase (formerly Hoonuit / Atomic Learning) provides online training through an extensive library of short, easy-to-understand video tutorials. Instructors can choose a relevant topic and link any of the available videos from their Blackboard course site. Students can access the assigned videos with just one click (optional participation tracking - syncs with Bb Grade Center).

SMARTHINKING online tutoring

SMARTHINKING’s online tutoring service is available to University of North Dakota students for UND courses only. There is no charge to UND students for the SMARTHINKING online tutoring service.

Tutoring

In addition to the campus tutoring services, SMARTHINKING online tutoring is a free service that provides access to tutors 24 hours a day from any Internet connection. Students can chat with a tutor, schedule a personal session, or submit a question. They can also submit written assignments for review by the online writing lab. To access SMARTHINKING, go to the a course in Blackboard, click tools, then click Smarthinking UND.
