The University of North Dakota (UND) has introduced three AI tools to enhance research, teaching, and administrative tasks. These tools integrate with popular apps, provide real-time assistance, generate content, analyze data, gather information, summarize findings, answer questions, draft documents, offer tutoring support, and help with brainstorming and idea generation. Contact UIT if you plan to enter private or restricted data.

While it offers advanced capabilities, the LLM DeepSeek's security, privacy, and compliance implications have not been formally assessed by the university. Until further notice, faculty, staff, and students should refrain from using DeepSeek for official university matters or with university-owned data, systems, or resources.
