Deactivating a line
Scenario: user has requested deactivation of a line.
1. ACO:
Phone System > Groups > Limited Extensions > search for extension and document the number
Devices & Numbers > Phone > Phone Nickname (should be the ATA Port) - document the M- number
Limited Extension Details > General > Disable
2. ATA Spreadsheet & Login:
Telecommunications > Campus Infrastructure > Analog ATAs
Click the tab for the proper ATA M- number
Note the IP address for the ATA at the top of the sheet and the login information
Log into the ATA using the IP address
Default user name is admin
FXS Ports > Port Settings > select the correct range
Verify that the port has the correct information. If it does, remove the SIP User ID, Authenticate ID, and Name
Click Save and Apply
Update the spreadsheet to reflect the change you just made in ATA
Remove the Name, ATA Name, Perm DID, User Name, Auth ID, Password, CM Port, and Notes
