Add a co-instructor and/or teaching assistants to a Blackboard course

Summary

Add a co-instructor or teaching assistant to a Blackboard course.

Body

All teaching assistants and instructors need to be added to Campus Connection for automated population into the Blackboard courses.  Please work with your department Scheduling Assistant for assistance in getting them added.

To add a Course Builder or other roles besides student, instructor or teaching assistant, please submit a request using the Blackboard Request Form.

  • Log in to the Bb Request Form using your NDUS.identifier (same login credentials you use for email or Blackboard).

  • Once logged in, follow the prompts to begin. Select ADD/REMOVE USERS and fill in the required information about the course and the user you would like to add and then, scroll down to select ADD to save the completed form. This page will allow you to add multiple different requests to the cart, then submit them all at once.

  • When you're done adding requests, complete your request by selecting the SUBMIT button to send the request.

  • You must click SUBMIT to send us your request. You will receive an email confirmation when your request has been received, and a second email when the user has been added to your course. If you do not receive the first email confirmation, your request was not sent. Please fill out the request form again and make sure to select the SUBMIT button to complete the request and to send it.
