Connect an Android Phone or Tablet to Secure "UND Protected" Wi-Fi

  1. From your device's available Wi-Fi networks, choose "UND Open".
  2. If one doesn't appear automatically, open a browser to http://wifi.und.edu. Select Students, Faculty, and Staff Access.

  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to download and install the "SecureW2 JoinNow" app.
  4. Once the app is installed, return to your browser and select the JoinNow button.

  5. Open the "SecureW2 JoinNow" app and enter your NDUS credentials, then select Continue.

  6. You will receive a confirmation that you are successfully connected to the "UND Protected" network. Select Done.

  7. The JoinNow app will show that you are connected to "UND Protected", and you should see that you're connected in your list of available Wi-Fi networks. 
Warning! In order to remain on the secure "UND Protected" network, the app will need to remain installed on the device. It is recommended you go to your available Wi-Fi networks and disable automatic connection to the "UND Open" network.
