What is SSO?

Tags Sign single sso

Ever wonder "what username and password do I use" when trying to access a UND system? SSO is the answer.

SSO stands for Single-Sign-On. Its an account security method that allows one set of user credentials to be used on multiple systems. At UND, and the other North Dakota University System organizations across the state, our SSO uses our user.name and password credentials. This means we can log in to many different systems we use regularly with the same user.name and password.

Some of the systems that use SSO at UND include:

  • Campus Connection
  • Microsoft Email and Applications like Teams, Onedrive, Word, Excel, etc (with @ndus.edu after the user.name)
  • Printing systems (uPrint & uniFLOW)
  • HRMS Employee Self Service
  • Blackboard
  • Zoom
  • Docusign
  • Avaya communications systems
  • Library services
  • UND Labs Anywhere
  • Jaggaer procurement site
  • Perceptive Content
  • Peoplesoft Finance and Reporting
  • Teamdynamix tech support client portal
  • Ad Astra scheduling
  • UND computers
  • Wired and Wi-Fi network and internet
