Are you trying to log in to a certain page with your UND credentials and being asked for a bypass code?
When you try to sign in to a system secured by your UND user.name, password, and Duo multi-factor authentication, you may encounter a screen asking for a bypass code. This happens when Duo doesn't have any other way to authenticate you. In that case, its because you haven't set up Duo Mobile on your mobile device, you haven't registered a phone number where you can receive calls or texts from Duo, or you registered a passkey from another device, but its not available on the one you're using when you get the bypass code prompt.
To get a bypass code, and prevent the issue from occurring again, you must either start a live chat during normal business hours, or call 701.777.2222 24/7. Be prepared to take a photo of yourself holding your Student ID card, or a government-issued ID. You'll send the photo via email, or a secured online file drop-box.
Once we verify your ID, we'll guide you through registering a more reliable authentication method, and you won't be prompted to get a bypass code anymore.
