Your NDUS user.name Account - Change Password

Info! Do not use your UND email address as your alternate email address because it makes it easier for your account to be compromised and you will not be able to change your password without calling UND Tech Support.

  1. Go to the Your NDUS Account page.
  2. Select the Account Maintenance (Change Password) button.
  3. You must log into the North Dakota University System with your NDUS.identifier and current password to continue.
  4. Once logged in, select the Change Password button.

Once logged in, select the Change Password button.

  1. Next you will be asked to create a password to associate with your NDUS.identifier.
  2. After submitting, you should receive a message stating that your password has been changed.
Danger! Users that have entered the incorrect login information or had failed logins ten (10) times within a ten (10) minute period will be locked out of the system for ten (10) minutes. Passwords changed by the UND Help Desk or NDUS Help Desk will expire in three (3) days and should be reset by the user within that time. Users can change their NDUS.identifier password at any time through the North Dakota University System portal, but are limited to once a day.
