Through the GlobalProtect VPN (Virtual Private Network), users with UND credentials are given remote access to specific systems hosted on UND networks. Systems accessible via VPN may include shared-drive network file storage, document management systems, and remote desktops.
Install the GlobalProtect VPN Client on Apple iOS Devices
Before you can connect your iOS device to the GlobalProtect network, you must download and install the app from the Apple App Store.

Launch the App Store.

Search for GlobalProtect

From the search results, select GlobalProtect™

From the GlobalProtect app product page, tap GET.

Install the app.

Sign In with Apple ID if requested.
Use GlobalProtect for iOS

Launch the GlobalProtect app.

(Optional) If you have not enabled GlobalProtect notifications on your device, a notification permission dialog appears. Allow GlobalProtect to send you notifications.
If you Don’t Allow GlobalProtect to send you notifications, a reminder appears the next time you launch the app. Tap the Settings -> GlobalProtect link to go to the notification permission screen, where you can enable notifications. If you still do not want to enable notifications, Skip this screen.

Enter the UND GlobalProtect portal address, ( vpn.und.edu ) then tap Connect.

When the “GlobalProtect” Would Like to Add VPN Configurations message appears, select Allow.

Enter your iPhone or iPad passcode to confirm that you want to add VPN configurations to your device.

When prompted, enter and submit your user.name credentials, and verify your login attempt through the Duo 2FA prompt.

Once verified, the screen will read, CONNECTED and TAP TO DISCONNECT.

You can exit the GlobalProtect app and the connection will stay active while you use the device. A small VPN icon will appear at the top of your screen indicating the connection is live.
