Blackboard is UND's learning management system connecting students, faculty and staff both inside and outside of the classroom. It is used for courses, organizations, committees, departments and groups.

The CampusConnection portal provides a secure and convenient access point to your personal and campus information. Once you claim your NDUS Account, you can check your application status, register for classes or update your personal information.

Duo Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

To provide increased security, the North Dakota University System has implemented Duo two-factor authentication when accessing sensitive information in PeopleSoft HRMS Employee Self-Service and all areas of PeopleSoft Finance from on and off campus locations.
Two-factor authentication adds a second layer of security to your online accounts by requiring a second factor (phone or other mobile device). This prevents someone from accessing your account, even if they have your username or password.

The North Dakota University System Account (NDUS.Identifier) is used to access most UND and NDUS systems.
New students (credit courses only), faculty, and staff must claim their account. The claim process includes: viewing a short video, completing an IT security quiz, and entering your date of birth and EMPLID/Student ID number. At the end of the process, you will be given your NDUS.Identifier/username and will set your password and responses to your security questions.
The NDUS Account page requires your NDUS.identifier username and password.

ProctorU is a live online proctoring service available 24/7 that allows students to take exams from anywhere using a webcam and Internet connection. This service uses live proctors who monitor exams by observing the the student (via webcam) and his/her computer screen in real time.
Students: Check your Blackboard course site or contact your instructor to find out if ProctorU is an option for your course.

Audience response systems (clickers) allow students in the classroom to instantly provide feedback, answer questions, and vote. TurningPoint is the standard adopted by the University of North Dakota.
Students may respond by using a "clicker" (a handheld device that allows them to vote or make a selection by pressing a button), or by setting up TurningPoint mobile on a web-enabled device such as a cell phone, laptop or mobile device. For courses that are using TurningPoint, students must create an account and purchase a TurningPoint license code. The license code is required regardless of which device is used.
Users will log into their Blackboard course using your NDUS.identifier and password, then navigate to Tools to select TurningPoint. Users will then need to create a Turning Account using their @UND.edu email account.
