Run a Spirion data scan

  1. Locate and click into the Spirion app on your computer.
  • The icon can be found in your System Icon Tray.

                     

  1. To begin a scan, click the green start button located in the upper left corner of the application window.

           

  1. The scan results will be reported to you in a Search Summary window.

  1. You may click on the Wizard button if you would like to go through the matches that were found on your computer one at a time.
  2. Click the Advanced button to look at the overall list of matches and determine what to do with them. 
  3. To save the list results, click Save As to your local computer.  The next time you open Spirion, these results will be available for you. 
  • If you do not choose to save the results and instead close the window, you will need to rescan.
