How to start a chat

1. Users can start a chat with us through our "Talk To The Hawk" chatbot on our Knowledge Base during our on-site hours (Excluding weekends) listed here: und.edu/uit/hours.

2. Once in a chat ask to speak to a support representative.

3. You will soon be connected with a support representative and if a remote support session is needed they will send you a link to our remote support program Splashtop.

4. When you get the link, copy it and paste it into your URL bar at the top of your screen. Once on the Splashtop website, the download should begin automatically. If it doesn't, please click the download link matching your device. Once downloaded please open the file.

5. When the program starts, you will quickly be connected to a UIT remote support representative and a chat box will load.
