Blackboard Tools for Creating, Adding, and Editing Content

  • Create Content
    • Learn to add, edit, delete, organize, and manage different types of content such as learning modules, folders, documents, assignments, discussions, and more. Check out the new AI Design Assistant as well. In order to activate and use AI tools in Blackboard, instructors are required to register and complete a TTaDA Live Training Session on Blackboard Ultra's AI.
  • Reuse Content
    • Once content is created, it can be reused for future courses. Learn how to do this through exporting archived courses, importing course packages, and copying content from previous/other courses. Instructors can also check on the copying status by accessing Course Tasks and Logs. 
       
  • Batch Edit
    • Update settings on all copied or imported content in one location for easy course setup and maintenance. Learn how to access, navigate, edit/change dates, edit visibility of content, and more with Batch Edit. 
       
  • Release Conditions for Content
    • Set visibility and access to content for students with rules on who, when, and how they can access content in a course. Learn to set rules to open content for groups, on specific dates, based on student performance, forced sequencing of content, and more.
