Common Issues
Problem: When I go to log in to my email it shows me a Microsoft 365 Copilot page.
Solution: In the left-hand column, click "Apps", then click "Outlook" to be directed to your email inbox.
Problem: I can't sign in to my email. I get an error message.
Error: "This username may be incorrect. Make sure you typed it correctly. Otherwise, contact your admin."
Solution: Enter your user.name with @ndus.edu and NOT @und.edu.
Problem: I just claimed my account and I can't get into my email.
Solution: It can take up to 48 hours for your email account to become active after you claim your account.
Problem: I need to access my UND email, not NDUS.
Solution: Your UND email and NDUS email are the same thing, and both use the same inbox. The only way to access your UND email is to use your user.name@ndus.edu. Sending emails this way will come from your @und.edu address.
Problem: I don't know my email login information.
Solution:
To find your username:

Go to Campus Connection/Solutions

Select "Campus Solutions Guest Page" on the right side

Select the "Help Center" tile

Select "Find my User ID" from the left menu

User ID results are listed
If you forgot your password:

Your email password is the same one you use to log in to Campus Connection and Blackboard

If you have an alternate email address registered, you can reset your NDUS password here

If automatic password recovery doesn't work, call 701.777.2222 any time. Be prepared to take a new photo of yourself holding your UND student ID or government issued ID and sending it securely to us so we can verify your identity and reset your password manually.
Problem: I need to claim my UND email account.
Solution: Your UND email account will automatically activate after you claim your NDUS account with your EMPLID (Student ID). It can take up to 48 hours for your email account to activate after claiming your NDUS account.
