You must claim your NDUS account on a computer to access UND systems. Mobile devices are not compatible.
- Find your EMPLID on your acceptance letter or by following the steps under the "Find my EMPLID" menu.
- Go to UND Claim.
- Select the Claim Your Account button.
- Play the short video from the NDUS Chancellor.
- Enter your EMPLID and date of birth.
- Click Continue. Note: if you get a message stating your account has already been claimed, it likely means you already have an active account from a previous affiliation with any of the 11 North Dakota University System institutions. This can include High School AP courses, continuing ed, past employment, and previous admission applications.
- The next screen will provide your NDUS.identifier which you use to log into most UND systems.
- Check the box to agree to NDUS policies and then select Continue.
- There will be a confirmation that your account has been activated.
- Click Continue.
- Now follow the rules to create your password. Then confirm your password.
- Click Change Password. You will receive a confirmation.
- Select Continue.
- Your account is now claimed and you should have access to most UND systems.
