Some of your courses in BlackBoard integrate with Apporto, allowing special features your instructor can configure. If using Apporto with a UND course, please access the tool through BlackBoard first to establish the Course group membership.

  1. Go to UND BlackBoard. Your BlackBoard username will be your NDUS dotted identifier and your BlackBoard password will be your NDUS dotted identifier password.
  2. Select the BlackBoard course for which your instructor has Apporto set up for use.
  3. Within the course you can click on a link in the toolbar on the right called, "Books & Tools".
  4. In that tool bar select either UND Labs Anywhere (GPU Desktop) or UND Labs Anywhere (Desktop).
  5. If you are a first-time user, the loading of Apporto software could take a moment.
  6. At the top of the screen, you will see a menu which you can use to upload and download documents as well as other tools you can use.
  7. Select the application you wish to run.
  8. When you are done using the application you can save the file and close (Your files will be saved to Apporto and be able to be used by you next time you use Apporto).
  9. To disconnect from Apporto, simply close the browser tab. Be sure any files you were saving to cloud storage have completed upload before disconnecting.
