Installing Avaya Cloud Office

 

log into this system with user.name@ndus.edu

Windows and macOS

UND owned machines

  1. Open Software Center
  2. Click on Avaya Cloud, then click on Install
  3. Click Single Sign-on and follow the prompts

Manual Installation

Download the Avaya Cloud Office application, NOT Avaya Cloud Office Phone
  1. Go to https://www.ringcentral.com/apps/avaya-cloud-office/aco-app
  2. Click Sign in to Proceed
  3. Click Single Sign-on and follow the prompts
  4. Click the down arrow and select Download for Windows or Download for macOS

Mobile (iOS, iPadOS, Android)

  1. Open the App Store or Google Play store
  2. Search for Avaya Cloud and click Get
  3. Click Single Sign-on and follow the prompts

Linux

This is just a phone dialer and not the full desktop experience. The use of the web portal is required for Linux users to utilize the full Avaya Cloud Office experience. Limited support is available.
  1. Go to https://www.ringcentral.com/apps/avaya-cloud-office/linux-phone
  2. Click Sign in to proceed
  3. Click single Sign-on and follow the prompts
  4. Click Visit page to download (A new tab or window will open to the office GitHub repository (https://github.com/ringcentral/ringcentral-embeddable-electron-app/releases)
  5. Choose the correct distribution and install
  6. Click Single Sign-on and follow the prompts
