This article shows various ways to personalize and organize your OneNote notebooks, including showing navigation panes, move and copy pages and sections, and rearranging pages or sections.

Show navigation panes

  • Select View > Navigation Panes > Show All, so you can see all of your notebooks, sections, and pages

Move a page from one section to another

  • Drag the title of the page to the section you want.

Rearrange the order of pages or sections

  • Drag the title of the page or section where you want it in the list.

Copy a page to another section or notebook

  1. Right-click the page and select Copy.

  2. Right-click a blank page in another section or notebook and select Paste.

Move or copy a section

  1. Right-click the section title and select Move/Copy.

  2. Select a notebook and then select Move or Copy.
