Connect to Cisco AnyConnect VPN when I turn my Windows computer on

  1. When your computer first boots up, you will first need to connect to a wireless connection at your location by clicking on the wireless symbol.
  2. A log in screen will then appear. Click on the wireless symbol again to display the available wireless networks.
  3. Select the wireless connection desired, check the box Connect Automatically if you will be connecting to this wireless connection frequently, click Connect and supply the necessary password for the wireless connection when prompted.
  4. Once you have successfully connected to a wireless connection, click on the Network sign-in icon.
  5. This will open the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client which allows you to log into UND’s VPN (virtual private network). In the username field, enter your NDUS account which is most often your firstname.lastname and your password. This is the same account you use to log into PeopleSoft to view your paycheck, Blackboard, etc.
  6. You are now ready to log into the computer as shown below using the same account and password you used above.
