UND Laptops for Learning Program

The University recognizes that students need reliable technology for academic success. The UND Laptops for Learning program supports students by providing a limited number of laptops to those who qualify and who have financial need. The UND Laptops for Learning program is made possible from a grant provided through the Federal CARES Act. The Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act was passed by Congress and signed into law to provide economic relief from COVID-19.

Warning! The goal of the Laptops for Learning program is to support students through the successful completion of a degree or certificate program at the University of North Dakota. Qualifying students must successfully complete the semester during which they are given the laptop at UND in order to retain it.

If students drop out or withdraw from UND and do not complete the semester during which they are given a laptop, they must return it to UND, or they will be billed its value (approximately $1,200). The laptop can be returned in-person or by mail.
